Vines are situated on a south-exposed hill with a 10% slope, at an altitude of 300 metres. The soil is made of clay and limestone and has some marls in its depth.
Winemaking is adapted in order to enhance Chardonnay aromas. Manual harvest of very ripe grapes. Selection of the best grapes on a vibrating sorting table, light pressing. The alcoholic fermentation tales place in cold stainless steel vats.
Ageing is done on fine lees for 3-5 months. About 5% of the wine has its alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels (new, one, two or three wine barrels), with a weekly Bátonnage for 6 months. In the end the wine is barrel blended with wine from vats.
Nice and intense golden colour. The nose shows step by step floral and fruit aromas. A vanilla hint in the end with a lingering finish: those are typical Chardonnay aromas.
