The vines are mainly planted on stony, limestone rich slopes at higher altitude, in the South of France. Cool nights with strong daily sunshine to balance richness and freshness.
Traditional vinification at controlled temperatures. Ageing on fine lees and control of malolactic fermentation to conserve the acidity. Storage in temperature controlled tank under inert gas to preserve the aromatic qualities of the Chardonnay grape.
Cuvee Jean Chardonnay is adorned with a brilliant pale yellow colour with green highlights. On the nose, it has notes of citrus, lychees and white flowers with a mineral touch. Its mouth is all roundness with a pleasant sweetness. The balance is perfect. Easy to access Jean Chardonnay is full of freshness and leaves a persistent finish, very soft and smooth.
