Grapes: 70% Black Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan.
Terroir: CAIRANNE commune, the majority of the farm is located at altitude, around 150 m. Terroir de côteaux where Grenaches and old Carignans express themselves at very low yields on very lean and highly limestone soils. A hectare of Grenache on sand that brings finesse to the final assembly.
Viticulture: The soil is worked in its entirety with respect for the environment and the plant. The Grenaches and Carignans are in cups (60 years) and the syrah are on wire (30 years).
Vinification: Manual harvest. Egrappage and treading. 28 to 35 days. Daily pigs during alcoholic fermentation as well as two to three offloads. The wines are raised in concrete vats for 9 months.
Annual production: 20,000 bottles.
Tasting notes: A dark red dress with purple highlights. Redcurrant nose and small berries associated with plum with brandy. Round palate, structured on aromas of black fruit, combined with sweet spices and green pepper. An elegant, aromatic and expressive wine of a rising appellation.
