2016 Cabernet Sauvignon – California enjoyed a beautiful 2016 growing season. A relatively even-growing season followed welcome winter rains that eased California’s ongoing drought. The entire ripening season enjoyed cooler than average daytime highs and cold nights – perfect for growing Cabernet Sauvignon.
78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Sirah, 4% Tempranillo, 4% Merlot
Aged in 3 types of oak – 40% French, 40% American, 20% Hungarian. 80% new and 20% seasoned.
